This caused a few missing heartbeats but it did not break my motherboard, it just never flashed. I formatted the flashdrive to fat32 as many websites say but nothing worked. I placed the files on the root of the flash drive and could see them but selecing them would freeze the bios. Disclamer: I am not responsible for errors or damages that may occur from following these instructions. I am posting this for future documentation, for other to see and because these steps worked for me. Be sure you know what you are doing before attempting these instructions.

Hello all, I have a friend who has recently purchased a Powerspec B633 desktop computer. Sometimes, when he boots it up, he'll see what looks like an underscore on his screen. The underscore is solid, it does not blink, and his computer will stall there in the boot up process. The computer must be rebooted in order to boot into Windows. This happens maybe 1 in 3 times when he tries to boot it from a powered off state. The BIOS on the machine has already been updated.
